I've got the game. Unfortunately, I don't think I can play it on my computer. I'm waiting for the "Residual" program to be finished, since I've heard good things about Grim Fandango, so I want to try it out.

As I implied, I've never played the game, but I believe the Simon The Sorcerer series is somewhat similar. Point-and-click adventure games set in a fantasy world, and they are quite funny. Unfortunately, due to how long the games took to make, the graphics were considered by some to be outdated (especially the 3D attempt), so it didn't sell well.

Well, take a look at it anyway, you might like it as much as I did (and still do!) =)

grim fandango its legendary all right.
i still have my original cd, also the original of monkey island 3.
you should try "the dig" its a pretty good point and click, also full throttle.
Also twinsen odyssey, this is not a point and click but still a pretty epic game.

*pant* With that out of the way, I played Grim Fandango, but it took me about three days to beat it - I had to download the patch that made the elevator in year two slow down.

psychonauts was pretty fun with a dual shock controller for pc, but it was hard as crap when i broke it.
now i wanna play grim fandango

Yes Grim Fandango is the best of all the Lucas Arts adventures, IMO.
But Monkey Island is certainly not overrated.. All four of them are amazing and come in a close second behind Grim for me.
Then you got Full Throttle and the original Sam & Max.. I don't like the new ones too much..

Id have to say Im a fan of advenyure games I already played and completed Grim Fandango, Recently the Sam and Max games are the best option I own the 2 seasons and Im waiting for the third one.
Glotis is awesome, wouldnt you love if he pimped out your ride?
